Best time to Visit Bhutan

During winter (December to February), temperatures in popular destinations such as Paro, Thimphu, Haa, and Bumthang often fall below 0°C at night, while daytime temperatures are usually sunny and pleasant.

The central valleys, located between approximately 2,000 and 3,000 meters, experience cool winters and mild summers, making them ideal for trekking, sightseeing, and cultural tours during spring and autumn.

At elevations above 4,500 meters (14,760 ft), the Himalayan region remains permanently snow-covered, with glaciers and high mountain peaks dominating the landscape.
