The road condition in between Paro, Thimphu, and Punakha/Wangdue is blacktopped and is in good condition.
The road from Wangdue to Gangtey Valley, the halfway road, is already blacktopped, and halfway is under the widening project and not very fun to drive in.
Furthermore, the section from Gangtey to Bumthang via Trongsa is also under the widening project and is hoped to be completed soon.
